• One tap at the start of classThe class list opens as "present"; teachers mark only who is absent, late or excused.
• Your school’s rulesHow many minutes after the last lesson teachers can still enter attendance, and when the "attendance not taken" alert fires, are set per school; status names, codes and colours are set for the whole institution under School structure > Attendance. When time is up the teacher’s screen closes.
• Medical notes in one entryThe office enters a medical note or leave once for a date range; those lessons are updated and teachers cannot overwrite them.
• Cover roll-callsAn absent teacher’s lesson is assigned to a colleague; it appears in their timetable and they take the roll-call.
• Reports from school to studentAbsence by school, grade, section and student; lessons without a roll-call and their teachers in one list.
• Parent-defined alertsParents can ask to be told when their child reaches a number of absent days; the alert is sent automatically.
