• A fast barcode tillScan product barcodes and the student card; students can also be found by name, with their photo on screen.
• Student balanceThe balance is topped up at the till or the office and never goes below zero. Any balance left at the end of the year is refunded.
• The parent’s daily limitParents set a daily spending limit and a low balance alert, and can be notified after every purchase.
• Products the parent blocksParents tick product types or single products; the till will not sell them to that student.
• Allergen blockingProducts carry the 14 allergens; anything touching a student’s allergy is locked. The till never shows the allergy itself.
• Linked to stockSales come out of the canteen store; receipts and counts share the Stock module’s records, and nothing out of stock is sold.
• Daily till and reportsSales by payment method, cash expected in the till, best sellers and revenue by day; a wrong sale is cancelled the same day, never deleted.
